Jacob: Born in the former German Demoratic Republic, I was raised in the spirit of peaceful revolution and democratic change. Bursting of ideals and enthusiam, I went out to discover the world beyond the range of my eyebrows. Although I am a child of the city of Leipzig, I found homes in many different places. My nation is the whole wide world. I love the Earth and its countless peoples, and I want to spend all it takes to make a difference. My wish is to let you know you can do, too. This blog contains observations and reminiscences from Germany, Sweden (2004-05), Taiwan (2006-07, 2009-10), and China (2007). ------ Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.
